Personal History

Dallas Wilson

With deep love and gratitude, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Dallas Wilson, on August 13, 2026, at the age of 91.

Dallas was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, known for his kindness, intelligence, integrity, and strength. He is survived by his wife, Annette Wilson; his 4 children, Danielle Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Linda Woodward, and Karen Zyadet; 8 grandchildren - Nathan and Lauren Wilson, John and Rania Zyadet, Dallas Zyadet, Lisa Shelly, Michael Smith, and Benjamin McIntosh and 6 great-grandchildren - Audrey and Claire Zyadet, Lacie Shelly, and Christian, Seth, and Sean Ady.

Dallas spent his career as a highly respected electrician and proud member of IBEW Local Union 441, where he was known for his sharp mind, exceptional skills, strong work ethic, and dedication to his profession.

His Catholic faith was an important part of his life. A devoted member of St. Kilian Catholic Church, Dallas generously gave his time to his parish community for many years. He became affectionately known as “The Potato Man” for faithfully washing potatoes and lemons for the Friday Fish Fries during Lent - a simple tradition that reflected his willingness to serve and his quiet dedication to his community.

Dallas leaves a legacy of love, faith, generosity, hard work, and devotion to family. His wisdom, humor, gentle spirit, and enormous heart will live on in all who knew and loved him.
