There are some people you never imagine having to say goodbye to, and you were one of them.

Thank you for the laughs, the memories, and for simply being there through different chapters of life. You left an impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing you, and that kind of impact doesn't disappear. It lives on in the stories we tell, the lessons we carry, and the love we continue to have for you.

I hope you've found the peace you deserve. I'll miss you more than words can say, but I'll never forget you. You'll always be a part of my life, and I'll carry your memory with me wherever I go.

Andrea Virginia Soto-Williams

Andrea Virginia Soto-Williams, 46, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, in El Toro, California, after a courageous 14-year battle with cancer. Throughout her illness and treatments, Andrea showed remarkable strength, courage, and resilience that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born in San Clemente, California, Andrea attended Mission School in San Juan Capistrano and Rancho Santa Margarita High School. She dedicated more than 21 years to Costco, where she worked at the Laguna, San Juan Capistrano, and Lake Elsinore locations, building countless lasting friendships along the way.

Andrea loved to laugh, and her beautiful smile could light up any room. She loved playing softball and dancing, and she was always happiest when surrounded by the people she loved. She was a devoted fan of the Dodgers and Raiders, and she never turned down an In-N-Out burger. Some of her happiest moments were simply those spent with her children, making memories together that they will carry with them always. She also cherished casino dinner date nights with her beloved husband, Charles. Above all, Andrea's greatest joy was her family, filling their lives with love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever.

Andrea is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her children, Kiana (25), Isaiah (22), and Jackson (7); her stepchildren, Shavanda and Tre; her son-in-law, Michael; her parents, Jaime and Juanita Soto; her sister, Monika Soto; and a large extended family and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Andrea's life:

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano. Graveside services will immediately follow at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest. A reception will then be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at El Adobe de Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Andrea's memory to either City of Hope, in gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion they provided throughout her journey, or the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA), whose research is helping advance treatments for brain tumors and brain cancer. More than 80% of ABTA donations directly support research.
